Meet Kelsie!
Kelsie has been passionate about art from a very young age and has been honing her skills ever since.
Growing up on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, she was captivated by the stunning natural scenery and wildlife surrounding her.
As a child, she experimented with various art forms and even participated in the Nanaimo Festival Of Banners for several years, starting when she was eight years old. In her early teens, Kelsie found her calling in realistic graphite drawing, which eventually led to her exploring watercolour, acrylic, and oil painting in her early twenties.
In the spring of 2022, after previously getting asked by multiple people to teach them how to paint over the years, Kelsie had the bright idea to create her own paint night business. And so, on September 28, 2022, "Paint with Kelsie" was born!
With the help of her family and friends, she managed to secure a couple of venues before the end of the year, and the rest is currently in the making!
Her artwork is characterized by its vibrancy, use of colour, and realistic depictions, with a focus on nature and animals.
Kelsie aspires to share her love of art with others, and hopes to expand her reach beyond the island in the future.
